  Dusti is our General Manager. She has been working with animals of all kinds her entire life. She grew up on a horse farm. As a teenager, in addition to caring for the family’s horses, her farm duties included caring for over eighty fox hounds when she was a whipper-in, and her mother was the Huntsman of the Mells Fox Hounds in Tennessee. Throughout high school, she was integral in the care, breeding, showing, and hunting of the hounds, even being the feature of an article in the "Covertside" magazine for an all-youth joint meet with Belle Meade Hunt in Georgia in 2006. She attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and remains a faithful fan. Dusti, her mother, and grandmother raise dachshunds, and their motto is “Our dogs sleep in our beds with us,” a promise she takes to heart. “I love all the dogs I work with as if they were my own. I feel like we are all one big, happy dog-family here at K9 BBB.” - Dusti

 Kaitlyn is our Grooming Manager and has been grooming since 2014. She is passionate about animals.  She is a well trained Stylist with many years' experience in the grooming industry but with the knowledge and experience beyond her years. She specializes in Australian Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, and other double coated breeds but enjoys grooming all breeds. She also does a little bit of creative grooming and wishes to expand her experience in it. Kaitlyn is a 5 Star Customer satisfied Stylist!
 

Our Master Groomer/Stylist Kayce has been grooming since 2010. Kayce is committed to making every pet's experience at the Salon as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. She has experience with special needs dogs of all kinds and with many breeds and temperaments. Kayce is a 5 Star Customer satisfied Stylist! 

Nicole has been grooming since 2022. 

"Born and raised in Berlin Germany and where I met and married my husband an American in 1992. I graduated Nursing in Germany  and moved to the US in 1993. Eager to go back to work in the healthcare field, I started my first job at an  animal hospital in 2004 and even after moving around, I have continued to work with animals from receptionist to office manager, vet tech, and dog behavior.  It has become my second nature to want to be involved with animals , dogs in particular.  Owning dogs of my own, which I have been grooming myself, I have become passionate about being a part of making a difference and expanding and continuing my knowledge. Moving to Huntsville, Alabama, K9 Bath Body and Boarding gave me yet another opportunity to become a Groomer where I was taught by a Master Groomer.  I quickly learned and enjoy the Art of Grooming Dogs of most Breeds  and look forward to the opportunity to meet your fur baby."

"I have been managing doggie daycares for three years. I am an animal lover of all types, whether they are furry, feathery, or scaly. I used to own English Mastiffs and Aussies, so I have a soft spot for the giant fur babies. I started working with animals as a boarding kennel attendant at a veterinary office in 2018. From there, I found my way into doggie daycare, which paved my path to K9 BBB! I absolutely love working with the dogs here, and they have become my work babies!"
